Recruitment for Notre Dame Football

notre dame football players

Recruitment for Notre Dame Football players was not an easy task. Choosing a player for a team doesn’t only involve his name and his abilities but is followed by many questions and drawbacks of that player.

Yet fortunately, National Signing Day had happened to be a great success for Notre Dame. On National Signing Day, Wednesday, the Irish class finished its ranking and finalized the 17 best athletes with the highest level of offensive talent and potential.

Below is the finalized ranking of the Notre Dame Football team. Theses 17 players happened to be the best players throughout across the board.

JORDON JOHNSON

All that I can say about Jordon is “he runs good”. Yes, there is not a single match with Jordon when it comes to being a runner. With the perfect shape of his body and complete control over his body balance, Jordon is always ready to run at any time with the fullest of his speed and catch at an impressive radius.

CHRIS TYREE

When it comes to Chris, well, my observation is that he is the fastest runner throughout the decade. All I want to say about Tyree is that he has perfect control over his body, has quick footwork and there are no brakes in him when he is running. This makes him the best RB for Notre Dame.

Virginia

RYLIE MILLS

Let me tell you, Mills was the topmost priority of Notre dame staff. The reason is, he is the most versatile defender. He can play without any hassle inside or outside the line when the need arises. He is perfectly crafted in shape with long arms, strengthens the body and physical fitness, all these traits allow him to perfectly beat the blockers.

Defensive End ( DE )

ALEX PIETSH

All that one can say about Alex is that “he is a really good athlete”. Yes, that sentence describes him. He is the perfect athlete and hopefully a perfect player. When he was ranked as a snapper, I was really satisfied because he has got all the traits to make him a good snapper. I bet the credit goes to him being in the perfect frame.

Long Snapper (LS)

AIDAN KEANAAINA

Well, for Aidan, I think he would be a good addition to the team as he has all the potential and mindset needed for performing the job he had been chosen for. He has complete control over his body, he is the master of reflexes, and he bears the best length and weight, along with the perfectly crafted body shape. Yes, he is no doubt an ideal Defensive Tackle.

Defensive Tackle (DT)
Irish Breakdown Grade:
4.0
Upside Grade:
4.5

Weight:
292
State:
Colorado
Height:
6’3″

MICHAEL CARMODY

Michael Carmody has previously been a blocker in his final season, the reason he was chosen as a blocker in last season was his required length and his ability to move his foot quickly. Now for 2020, he has been enrolled in as an offensive tackle, I don’t know if he could do the job perfectly as I don’t think he was suitable for this rank, but still, he is the choice of staff, so they may have seen something different in him that made them make their decision. But I think he should have been the blocker again, as that rank suited him well.

Position:
Offensive Tackle ( OT)
Irish Breakdown Grade:
4.0
Upside Grade:
4.5
Weight:
285

State:
Pennsylvania
Height:
6’6″

JAY BRUNELLE

In my opinion, Jay would have been a good blocker than being a receiver as he has the perfect length that is required. But still, he jumps good enough which I think is the cause to choose him as a receiver.

Position:
Wide Receiver
Irish Breakdown Grade:
4.0
Upside Grade:
4.5
Weight:
210
State:
Massachusetts
Height:
6’1″

RAMON HENDERSON

All I want to say about Henderson is that he has got good speed. Yes, he runs quite fast and steadily with his slim legs. The thing that made me a little opposed was his height. I mean, okay his is a good height but he needs more length to be a CB. But still, he is a good player and I believe that he will be a good addition

Position:
(CB)
Irish Breakdown Grade:
3.5
Upside Grade:
4.5
Weight:
185
State:
California
Height:
6’2″

CALEB OFFORD

Okay, let’s be honest, I don’t like this guy, I mean seriously he hasn’t got even a single trait to let him enroll in Notre Dame, but still, the staff has chosen him, and now he is a part of Notre Dame team. I think it’s because of his perfect length and quite satisfying strength.

Position:
Defensive Back (DB)
Irish Breakdown Grade:
3.0
Upside Grade:
3.5

Weight:
175
State:
Mississippi
Height:
6’1″

ALEXANDER EHRENSBERGER

Well, when it comes to Alexander, I think he is still just a young kid and has to learn a lot. But I must say that he has the potential and urge to become a good player. So this means that he has a bright future in the game. Plus, he is perfectly shaped, with a height of 6-7 and weight of 238, he has got long and firm arms and loose hips that proves that he can surely be a good defensive end.

Position:
Defensive End (DE)
Irish Breakdown Grade:
3.5
Upside Grade:
4.5
Weight:
238
State:
Germany
Height:
6’7″

CLARENCE LEWIS

I haven’t got much to say about Clarence, as he is not one of my favorites, plus there is nothing a lot special about him. But still, he is tough and physically fit, so I hope that he would be a good investment.

Position:
Corner Back (CB)
Irish Breakdown Grade:
3.5
Upside Grade:
4.0

Weight:
185
State:
New Jersey
Height:
6’0″

KEVIN BAUMAN

When it comes to Bauman, well, he has got everything needed to be a tight end. He is tough, he is strong, and I meant it, he has a perfect size, his weight is the best, he has strong hands, flexible legs, tough muscles, oh yes, and an urge to develop more.

Position:
Tight End (TE)
Irish Breakdown Grade:
4.0
Upside Grade:
4.5
Weight:
232

State:
New Jersey
Height:
6’5″

DREW PYNE

There is not much I can say about drew as he hasn’t got the potential like the others. But the thing I like the most and that makes drew the quarterback is that he is always ready. He is a tough man, a really tough man, not just physically, but also mentally. He is always ready for the game no matter what.

Position:
Quarterback (QB)
Irish Breakdown Grade:
4.0
Upside Grade:
4.5
Weight:
175

State:
Connecticut

Height:
6’1″

JORDAN BOTELHO

When it comes to Botelho, I must say that he is the most versatile player across the whole country I have ever seen. I mean seriously, is there something he can’t do. He can play at the edge, and if needed he can even line up at linebacker. Jordan has some kind of urge, some potential, some push force that provokes him to put all his energy and effort into the game. This is the reason that whenever he goes in the game, there is no chance he would give up, even if the game is reaching yo its worse stage, there is no chance that Jordan will ever step back.

Position:
Defensive End (DE)
Irish Breakdown Grade:
4.0
Upside Grade:
4.5

Weight:
230
State:
Hawaii
Height:
6’3″

XAVIER WATTS

Every person has got a specialty. A special trait that is found only in that person and no one can do that job better than him. Well, I tell you what, a perfect catch is the specialty of Watts. Though he is also an expert in performing multiple tasks at the same moment, as he can also be the best blocker and a runner, when it comes to being a receiver, Xavier knows how to do his job perfectly. He is a two-way player and also a basketball player, I think that’s the reason he has his skills reaching their full potential.

Position:
Wide Receiver ( WR)
Irish Breakdown Grade:
4.0
Upside Grade:
5.0

Weight:
185
State:
Nebraska
Height:
6’1″

TOSH BAKER

I must say that Baker could have been the best blocker throughout the whole country if it wasn’t for his weight. He has got some remarkable athlete traits that make him the only one of his kind. Baker has the perfect body shape that is ideal for an athlete and a football player. With his 6’8” of height, slim legs, and fuller body, he never misses a block. Even if he gets beaten off, these traits allow him to immediately recover at the moment. So there is no doubt left why he was the first choice for Notre Dame Football team.

Position:
Offensive Tackle (OT)
Irish Breakdown Grade:
4.5
Upside Grade:
5.0

Weight:
275
State:
Arizona
Height:
6’8″

MICHAEL MAYER

Mayer is definitely the best athlete and player without any doubt. He had been a two- way player during the college years. You would be guessing why I’m so fond of him. Well, then listen, during his last season he hauled 44 passes for 845 yards and 145 touchdowns, isn’t it cool though? He has always been a strong route runner, all thanks to his deep speed and perfect body controls due to which he never misses a catch. Along with all this, he is also a good or I must say the best receiver, one must admit.

Position:
Tight End (TE)
Irish Breakdown Grade:
4.5
Upside Grade:
5.0
Weight:
240
State:
Kentucky
Height:
6’5″
