The ingredients needed for crafting paper in Minecraft include

Some locks of Wood
1 Crafting table
3 Sugar cane

Procedure 1: Making a Crafting Table

Since a crafting table is the most vital thing required to craft paper and you can’t craft anything without a crafting table, hence the first step is to make a crafting table.

Step 1:

In the first step of making a crafting table, you would have to gather some wood. You are going to need 4 wood planks, as 1 punch of wood contains 4 wood planks so you would only have to punch one tree. Do this by holding and pressing the left button of the mouse.

Step 2:

In the next, you would have to visit your inventory to make the crafting box, you can do this by clicking on the letter E on your keyboard

Step 3:

Once you have your inventory open, start placing 4 wood planks one by one in the four empty boxes located at the top corner of your inventory box.

Step 4:

Once you have placed all the wood planks in those four boxes, you would see another wooden box appearing in the empty box in the front of those boxes with a pointed arrow in its direction.

Step 5:

The wooden block that appears in that empty box is the crafting table. Now you’ll have to bring the crafting table to the ground. To bring it on the ground, right-click the crafting table and drag it to place it smoothly on the ground.

Procedure 2: Crafting a Paper

Once you have created the crafting table, the next procedure is to craft the paper.

Step 1:

Sugarcane is the key unit needed for crafting papers. Therefore you’ll have first have to find the sugar cane. You can easily locate them near the water bodies.

Step 2:

Once you have spotted the sugar canes, you’ll have to gather 3 of them. To gather the sugar canes you would have to repeat the same process you did with the wood. Just punch it.

Step 3:

Now once you have your 3 sugar canes, start placing them in the same empty boxes you placed the wood earlier.

Step 4:

Doing this will make a single paper to appear in the box in front of the crafting boxes. Just click the paper to use it for any purpose you want.
